In August 2025, I had the honor of participating in The Open Exhibition 2025 at Sock Gallery, Loughborough Town Hall. It was a long journey, but completely worth it to be part of such an inspiring contemporary art exhibition.
The gallery was filled with over 160 incredible artworks — a vibrant mix of painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media that brought the entire space to life. The atmosphere was enriched by the presence of so many talented emerging and professional artists from across the region.
I was especially delighted to discover this gallery through the creativity and originality of other artists. Even though we haven’t met in person, social media and online art communities have an amazing way of connecting like-minded creatives and fostering new artistic collaborations.
